6/1/2025 – Summer is here which means my freckles are back. I haven’t made any grand announcement about redoing my website into this kooky monstrosity because the process is slow and sleepy. It all started when I set out to track down gifs from my geocities days. So now, this site has become an attempt to get at an older experience of the internet, which sounds weird to say since it’s not that long ago, or is it? My sense of time distorts; stretches and snaps like a rubberband. I’m trying to be more deliberate about my interaction with technology. I think about a time when I actually used bookmarks and checked websites piecemeal. It felt more like a choice. Not just one big, endless scroll I let wash over me as I drool and my eyes glaze over. Or maybe that’s just the nostalgia weeping. I gotta stop before it starts giving... MANIFESTO!!!

Once reality disappears, we’re grateful that the image exists. We no longer worry about gauging its fidelity; we no longer can.
